about
I want to live in a more just and equal society. This song was written in proud support of the YES vote for same-sex marriage. The NO campaign has been cruel and damaging to many people in the LGBTIQA community. All proceeds of "Just Say Yes" are going to The LGBTI Health Alliance, which promotes the health and wellbeing of LGBTIQA Australians. So the more you pay for the track, the bigger and better the donation!

Lyrics
I heard you on a soundbite talking 'bout the plebiscite
You'll vote no even if results show otherwise
Labour lower house
Power to oppress
Red'd be better if you just said yes
I saw you wrote a letter defending propaganda
And a so-called way of life without no human rights
Sunburnt country
Under threat
Orange'd be better if you just said yes
I knew you'd played a mean game back in the day
But that was on the court now you'd gone and brought God into it
Flying free
But tangled in a net
Yellow n' green'd be better
Do you know what your words can do?
Spreading hate with your dated views?
Feeling unworthy
You'd be depressed
Blue'd be better if you just
Are you happy making bruises on other people's bodies?
Does it make you feel stronger to beat up on a minority?
Throwing your punches
Pounding your chest
Purple'd be better if you just said yes
Red'd be, orange'd be, yellow n' green oh why can't you see?
Blue'd be, purple'd be
The rainbow's the dream, oh why can't you see the rainbow?
Why can't you see the rainbow is the best
When you just
When you just
Just say yes
